Welch, Spring & Company, Forestville, Conn., "Regulator No. 8" wall clock, 8 days, time only, two brass weight driven movement with center sweep seconds in a black walnut case with burled highlights and elements and white enamel dial, c1885
CONDITION:
the case retains its excellent original finish. The four small ball finials on bottom are absent. There is a minor crack repair to bottom left trim. The dial has minor repair around center arbor and right winding arbor. There are hairlines between 4 & 5 and above left winding arbor. The pendulum rod is gold leafed. The brass crutch plate insert is absent. The key and beat scale are original. This is a rare example in unusually fine condition. Ht 66"
